Chandler PD Responds to Theft, Disturbance, and Burglary Incidents Across the City

In the past week, Chandler Police Department responded to several notable incidents across the city. On March 8, officers were called to the area of Chandler Boulevard and Arizona Avenue for a reported theft from a vehicle. The victim stated that personal belongings and electronics were taken from their unlocked car overnight. This case remains under investigation.

On March 9, police responded to a disturbance at a residence near Ray Road and McQueen Road. Upon arrival, officers found two individuals engaged in a verbal altercation. The situation was de-escalated without arrests, and both parties were separated for the evening.

A burglary was reported on March 10 at a business in the Chandler Fashion Center area. Security footage showed an unknown suspect forcing entry through a rear door after hours and removing cash from the register. Detectives are reviewing evidence and seeking additional information from the public.

A domestic violence incident was reported on March 12 in a neighborhood off Ocotillo Road. Responding officers found evidence of a physical altercation between two adults. One individual was arrested on domestic violence charges, while the other received medical attention for minor injuries.

On March 13, police investigated a series of vehicle break-ins reported in the Andersen Springs area. Multiple residents awoke to find their car windows smashed and valuables missing. Investigators believe the incidents may be related and are analyzing surveillance footage from the area.

A robbery occurred on March 14 at a convenience store near Dobson Road and Frye Road. The suspect allegedly brandished a weapon and demanded cash from the register before fleeing on foot. Officers established a perimeter but were unable to locate the individual. The investigation is ongoing, and police are seeking witnesses.

Chandler PD also responded to numerous calls throughout the week related to noise complaints, minor traffic collisions, and welfare checks. Officers conducted increased patrols in areas that have recently experienced property crimes.
