The week we're talking about Josiah Walls, a slave once forced to work for the Confederate army, Josiah went on to be a military hero, and United States Senator, and a great Educator. Josiah also worked with the 54th Massachusetts Infantry when the regiment joined Josiahs and other to spearhead an attack on Fort Wagner in attempt to take Charleston SC.
