And it’s unequivocally a good thing for the Huskers, despite what you may perceive about parts of their careers in Lincoln.
Nebraska basketball is struggling. The Huskers lost at home on Saturday for the fifth time since mid-January, unthinkable after they’d won 20 consecutive games at PBA. Fred Hoiberg’s team technically remains alive for the NCAA Tournament, but it’s going to need a strong finish in these final days of the regular season. That doesn’t look likely.
