On July 5th, 1919, Bella Wright was riding her bicycle to visit a relative when she encountered a man on a green bicycle. Multiple witnesses saw the two of them riding together that evening. Hours later, Bella’s body was found on a road near a farm. She had been shot in the head. Months later, the police identified the man on the green bicycle as 34-year-old Ronald Light.
