Summary:

Salvation is the beginning step in our relationship with the Lord. As we reach into that relationship we receive the gift of the Holy Spirit and begin a process of giving up our life as we begin to submit to His Lordship in our life. This leads us into the greatest joy anyone can know – to know Him.

  • It seems that the lordship of Jesus Christ begins with salvation. That step of salvation is the beginning of a walk with God.

  • When we first accept the Lord, we believe that He was raised again and that He's living. So we come into a walk with God. Do you have a relationship with Him yet? No, because that has to be developed.

  • You really don't know the Lord until you come into the place where you accept Him and relate to Him as the Lord of your life.

  • We're set apart to Christ becoming our head, Christ becoming our Lord.

  • Being under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, one of the first things that happens is the dethroning of your carnal mind, the dethroning of your thinking, your ways, and everything that you would choose you're laying down .

  • When you've accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, He gives you a the gift of the Holy Spirit.

  • Show me, lead me, direct me, and let me come into your presence. Let me know you. Not just about you, but to really know You.
