It’s a big edition of the “The Parting Schotts Podcast.”

Daily Gazette of Schenectady (N.Y.) sports editor and Philadelphia native Ken Schott opens the show celebrating the Eagles Super Bowl win over the Kansas City Chiefs.

Schott then previews the Union men’s and women’s hockey teams’ weekend games.

The men host Quinnipiac at Princeton. Schott has interviews with Union players Cullen Ferguson, Caden Villegas and Brandon Buhr.

The women play their final two regular-season games at Princeton and Quinnipiac. Schott has interviews with Union head coach Tony Maci and players Sophie Matsoukas, Stephanie Bourque and Maddie Suitor.

Schott speaks with Union women’s hockey defenseman Maren Friday about winning ECAC Hockey’s Mandi Schwartz Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award.

The NBA All-Star break starts Friday, and that means it’s time for the annual NBA Roundtable with two Capital Region natives: Marc Kestecher, the voice of the NBA on ESPN Radio, and Tim Reynolds, who covers the NBA for The Associated Press.
