On the first day of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, five Asian women writers read from their work and address the rise of anti-Asian bigotry in the United States. Coming from a variety of perspectives and backgrounds, Jerrine Tan, Paula Mendoza, Celina Su, Devi S. Laskar, and Pauline Park together throw a powerful light on the past and present of American racial capitalism, patriarchy, and imperialism.
