Dan here. This mix is special to me - it’s all quality tracks, some new, more old, just electro and techno that has sustained me through the slush and the subway and the shutdowns. But it’s more than that: I remember when Acid Camp was Alberto’s Tamales, bulk fabric from a downtown stall, home-built speakers, all-friend lineups. It was incredibly special watching Aaron take the dream so many of us shared - community, music, release - and bring it into the world, for real. It was also fun as hell. Those days inspired me to try DJ’ing, all these years later, across the country, in a different world. But I’ll never forget those late nights, and I’ll never throw out my Acid Camp shirts.
