In this episode of Mission Statements, Allen Perry and host Andy Katz have a great time talking with Mr. Freeze, of the Rock Steady Crew. The ‘breakdance scene’ from the 1983 movie ‘Flashdance’ brought us together, 40 years after the filming, and Mr. Freeze recounts his memories of filming the groundbreaking dance sequences. Allen had visited the site several years ago, in Pittsburgh’s Strip District, and Andy followed in his footsteps, earlier this year. This discussion was a rare opportunity to directly connect with pop-culture greatness, and document one of our collaborative missions to find an elusive location.
