For many it’s the busiest time of their lives and Tess encourages these clients to outsource the ‘mental load’ of planning for future security. Helping them prioritise setting a goal – a number – in the middle phase of life rather than in ten years’ time, and demonstrating a clear path of how to get there is what Tess considers to be the real value of advice.
