On Episode 125 of the Guest Speaker Series, the multi-talented singer, producer, composer, and instrumentalist, Johan Lenox, returns for his third appearance. This time, we recorded the episode inside of Landsdowne Pub in Boston, ahead of his opening performance at House of Blues for 070 Shake’s Petrichor tour.
Johan catches us up with what he’s been up to since his last appearance on the show, including the release of his second full-length studio album ‘I Guess We’ll Find Out’ which hit all DSP’s back in March 2024. However, much of the material on the album is still deeply relevant today regarding the political and social climate, and even the impact of the recent LA fires, which Johan & Mike talk at length about.
Johan also talks about his experience conducting an orchestra for A$AP Rocky at Rolling Loud in Thailand, having a heavy hand in production for 070 Shake’s Petrichor, as well as the visual experience that was made into a ballet, and so much more.
