Psalm 118 (CM) from 'Psalms for Singing – A 21st Century Edition (2004)'
This is the LORD’s own gate, by it
the just will enter in.
I’ll thank you, for you answered me;
my Saviour you have been.
14 That stone is made head cornerstone,
which builders cast aside.
This is the doing of the LORD,
a wonder to our eyes.
f 15 This day the LORD has made; let us
be glad in it with joy.
mf LORD, save, I pray; O LORD, I pray
send now prosperity.
16 O Blessèd is the one who comes,
comes in the LORD’s great name;
the blessing from the LORD’s house we
upon you do proclaim.
17 God is the LORD, who unto us
has made light to arise;
bind to the altar’s horns with cords
the festal sacrifice.
f 18 You are my God; I’ll give you thanks;
my God, I will you praise.
O thank the LORD, for he is good;
for his love lasts always.
