It's the holiday season, and I wanted to bring a special episode to us all as this year has been one for the books. We’re grieving!!! And I want to remind you that in your grief, seen and unseen, that you are not alone.

Today you all will get the chance to hear from television host and media personality Ms. Charity Bailey. You may have seen her smile on RightThisMinute as she tells stories that move the culture forward, bringing her personality and unapologetic black womanhood to the world.

What you don’t know, is behind that smile, is a woman grieving the loss of the father whose journey to television has been far from conventional. And that’s what we’re discussing today, her YMP journey as a journalist whose gone from CA to NC to AZ, and how she turned her pain into passion with her new web series on Youtube “Girl, We Need To Talk”

In knowing Charity for the last 3 years, one thing sticks out most to me, something my grandmother always reminded me of—KEEP LIVING.

Life is one hell of a ride that if we are willing to take, which will give us beautiful and not so beautiful experiences to learn from. Never stop learning YMPs. Never stop pursuing your dreams. Never let life take you all the way down.

In the words of a great songwriter Donnie McClurkin, we fall down, but we get up. I’m so excited for you to join our conversation and pray that your heart is healed as you join in.
