Linger Lamb, an old Derecho farmer, has hired the Moonrakers to secure the recording of a song he remembers from his childhood. The team learned that a woman named Edith of the Elm has the recording, though they also learned that recordings ought not to exist.
As the Moonrakers lure Edith of the Elm out of hiding, the Eternal Storm braces for an unusual season. A skull crackling with energy blooms in the sky above the village, and in the northeast, a pulsing whitish light blankets the land. Whatever they thought they were walking into, they were wrong…
