前段时间，我们聊了英文职场“黑话”，今天的节目我们依然是要聊一聊英文职场又地道又实用的表达。
1. Brainstorm 头脑风暴
This means to generate ideas as a group to solve a problem or create something new.
指团队成员集思广益、碰撞想法的过程，以便解决问题或提出创新方案。
Example: Let’s brainstorm some solutions to the current bottleneck.
例句: 让我们头脑风暴一下，想出当前瓶颈问题的解决方案。
2. Think outside the box 跳出固定思维模式
This means to approach a problem in a creative or unconventional way. “Box” 指的是固有的思维框架，跳出“box”意味着突破常规，采用创新思维。
Example: We need to think outside the box to solve this issue.
例句: 我们需要跳出固有思维来解决这个问题。
3. Go the extra mile 付出额外努力
This means to put in extra effort to achieve something, often exceeding expectations.
“多走一英里”意味着超出预期地努力工作，通常会带来更好的结果。
Example: She always goes the extra mile to meet client expectations.
例句: 她总是额外付出努力，以满足客户的期望。
4. Sync up 信息同步
This means to meet or communicate to align on a task. 指和他人同步信息或进度，以确保大家保持一致。
Example: Let’s sync up tomorrow to discuss the next steps.
例句: 我们明天同步一下，讨论下一步计划。
5. Follow up 跟进
This means to check on something or continue a discussion. "Circle back" is a similar phrase.
指跟进某件事或继续讨论，类似的表达还有 "circle back"（稍后回顾）。
Example: I’ll follow up with the client after our meeting.
例句: 会议结束后，我会跟进客户的情况。
6. Keep me in the loop 让我跟上进度
This means to stay informed about updates.
“Loop” 代表信息圈，表达让某人保持消息畅通、不掉队的意思。
Example: Please keep me in the loop on any changes to the schedule.
例句: 任何日程变更请让我随时了解情况。
7. Touch base 简单联系
This means to briefly check in with someone or have a quick conversation.
源自棒球中的“触垒”，引申为简单联系、快速沟通。
Example: Let’s touch base next week about the marketing plan.
例句: 下周我们再就市场计划联系一下。
8. Deadline 截止日期
This is the final date by which something must be completed.
指任务或项目的最后完成日期，也就是大家常说的 "ddl"。
Example: The deadline for this report is Friday at 5 PM.
例句: 这份报告的截止时间是星期五下午五点。
9. Push back 推迟
This means to delay or postpone something.
指推迟任务或日程，常用于工作中的变更安排。
Example: We may need to push back the deadline due to unexpected issues.
例句: 由于突发问题，我们可能需要推迟截止日期。
10. Stay on track 保持进度
This means to stick to the schedule or plan without deviating.
指按照计划进行，确保不会偏离目标。
Example: We’re slightly behind, but I think we can stay on track if we focus.
例句: 我们稍微落后了一点，但如果专注一些，应该还能保持进度。
11. Cut to the chase 开门见山
This means to get to the point quickly without unnecessary details.
源自电影术语，chase原本是指好莱坞电影里的追逐戏分，一般是作为铺垫，所以不太重要。所以cut to the chase就指跳过这些片段直接看重点情节。工作中，cut to the chase指跳过不重要的部分，直接进入正题。
Example: Let’s cut to the chase—what’s the main issue here?
例句: 我们开门见山吧，核心问题是什么？
12. Call it a day 收工/下班
This means to stop working for the day.
用于表达一天的工作结束，可以用于下班、结束会议等场景。
Example: It’s already 6 PM—let’s call it a day.
例句: 已经六点了，今天就到这里吧！
