No. 25 UConn rallies from 14 down to defeat DePaul 72-61 at the XL Center! DePaul (10-12, 1-10 Big East) came out strong, leading by as many as 14 in the first half behind Layden Blocker’s 18 points and CJ Gunn’s 14, but the Huskies outscored DePaul 43-24 in the second half to avoid an upset. UConn’s ball movement was key, recording 11 assists on 12 second-half baskets, and the Huskies were perfect from the free-throw line (14-14) to seal the win.
