Continuing our examination of the music of 1984, we took a little time to celebrate one of the most important albums of that year: Purple Rain by Prince. We're joined by a good friend of ours, Jason de la Torre, a very knowledgeable Prince fan, to talk about this landmark album. Our discussion ranges from how we first came to know this album and when we first saw the film, to the album's legacy and our favorite Prince concert experiences. We talk about our favorite songs, and the 2017 expanded reissue as well.

What's your opinion of Purple Rain? What's your favorite song(s)? When did you first see the film? Please let us know by emailing us at [email protected] or by leaving a comment on our socials! And don't forget to rate us on your favorite podcast app!
