As the makers of Comic Patrol we really only have a couple of rules.
- Read what you're going to talk about
- Don't pull any punches when you talk about it.
Both Coke and Dank take We3 under the microscope of what we love and loath about the story and artwork from famed writer Grant Morrison and stellar artist Frank Quitely.
The premise is simple: "three house pets weaponized for lethal combat by the government - as they search for "home" and ward off the shadowy agency that created them" What this story gives us is a simple tale of man's best friend- a dog, man's sometimes friend- a cat and child's choice- a bunny, into a cybernetic-built-killing-machines. Innocence flipped into dangerous weaponry but under who's control?
We3 is an action-packed story that doesn't slow down at any point as we follow 1,2 and 3 as they attempt to find rest, food and home. Now thats a good idea, but can we agree that it is a great execution? Can we both get behind how we read it and how we interpreted it?
Buckle in Sawftcheezes!
