Hell might be as simple as living today all over again forever…

And Heaven might be as simple as living today all over again forever…

I guess it depends on what you did today… right?

Here’s a better question… could you honestly tell anyone out there that they would love to live today as you have lived it. And in fact could you challenge them that if they lived your day “today” over and over again they would have a full and faith filled life…

Many times we focus on wanting to be like others… what would it have been like to actually be like Mike. Michael Jordan for a day… get up in a 22 million dollar home, go hang out with the best basketball players on the planet, and then obliterate some other quote un quote NBA stars making them look like children… but how many of us would wish that Michael had a day to live in your shoes…

Boy I wish I could get you to live my past Sunday. I received an incredible gift of $8000 and I preached a heck of a sermon, watched God move in worship and the message and then afterward got to lead a young man to Christ before he walked out the door… I know you would have loved to live that day…

Paul challenges us with this verse

Php 3:17 My friends, I want you to follow my example and learn from others who closely follow the example we set for you.

Paul is basically saying “I wish you could live like me”. I wish you could have a day like I have…

Yes he was beaten, stoned, whipped, robbed but he was also used in the most miraculous miracles of miracles. He was thousands come to Christ. He planted churches and he wrote a huge chunk of the NT. But more than that he honestly could say I wish you could live like me.

What a great goal for all of us… to live in such a way that we could honestly say to anyone… boy I wish you could live the say I live…. So lets do it. Lets live lives that we can actually be proud to ask others to live.

Happy Thanksgiving and Keep slaying Giants.
