Jake Haendel, the only known survivor of stage four Locked-In Syndrome, joins the Nurses Uncorked Podcast to share an unbelievable story of survival, addiction, and a miracle recovery. Acute Toxic Progressive Leukoencephalopathy (ATPL) is a complex rare neurological condition that attacks the white matter of the brain. Sometimes referred to as a pseudo-coma, it has been described as your body becoming a prison.
