Welcome back for Episode 18 of the Noobie Dentist Podcast, in this episode I had a great chat with D4 student Pejman Moghbeli out of Arizona. I first connected with Pejman over Instagram and was really impressed by a video that he put together on YouTube about dental student loans, re-payment strategies and tips on how to minimize payments! He has done a lot of research on this topic and his passion for it made me excited to have him on the show.
This episode is a great brief overview of how the American Student Debt is structured and different loan re-payment options after graduating. Pejman lays out different re-payment plans currently available and talks about the various pros and cons of each option. ***Disclaimer*** Neither he or I are financial advisors and the tips and suggestions we discuss are our opinions based on our experience and research, so please do your own research and talk to qualified financial planners and advisors before deciding on how best to tackle your student loans because everyone is unique and there is no blanket advice that applies for everyone!
