Research data gathered by he marriage and families studies group at catholic university in Washington D.C. happy couples often disagree as frequently as unhappy ones. The difference is that happy couples are far better at ending spats or as it is called “exiting”. Both couples have a negative experience, they follow the loop which is exchange negative experience and negative behavior. Maybe a harsh word and a harsh word. A harsh comparison with a harsh comparison…b ut then one of the partners will take a positive step and look at things that do work things that they are happy with things that they are doing well. And they close the loop with that. But unhappy couples follow the loop after loop after loop and replay negative experiences, negative behavior, all the wrongs you did since birth… they literally wear a pathway into their neural pathways in their brain. So next time it happens your brain literally jumps right into the negative deep level loop… and that person will always bring out the worst in you because that is the way you programmed your brain.

HOW DO YOU STOP THIS MADNESS IN A REAL PRACTICAL WAY?

Romans 12:2

  • Romans 12:2: "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect”

Some say that renewing your mind means interpreting life through God's Word and the Holy Spirit, rather than your own experiences, preferences, or the opinions of others. And they would be correct, but I also believe that renewing your mind would mean keep from creating negative neural pathways… and in turn creating negative spiritual inroads to our heart and life.

You focus on the bitterness that someone creates in your life… it will invite more spiritual darkness - more demonic activity in your life… and what does that do? It creates even more of a negative neural network and spiritual darkness in your life.

Here are some other Bible verses about mental transformation:

  • 2 Corinthians 10:5

  • Psalm 1:2

  • Proverbs 4:23

  • Philippians 4:8

  • 1 Peter 2:9

  • Psalm 139:13

  • Zephaniah 3:17

So what are some practical steps to renew your mind and blitzkrieg the demonic pathways into your life : Recognizing false beliefs or negative thoughts by mirroring your reactions with what scripture says, Calling out negative thoughts or lies according to what scripture says, Replacing lies with Gods truth, Studying and meditating on Scripture, and Praying over these type of situations.
