When we think about the impact of coronavirus on businesses and the economy, the immediate focus is on the negatives – the damage to businesses viability and fall in consumer confidence, as well as the astonishing growth in public sector borrowing that the taxpayer will somehow have to repay. But are we missing the bright spots in the gloom? Many businesses have moved rapidly to adapt their business models to the new normal, with some innovative responses to ensure they can keep operating during lockdown.
