“He who drinks beer sleeps well. he who sleeps well cannot sin. He who does not sin goes to heaven. Amen.” —Unknown monk

In this US Rugby Happy Hour Tap Room episode, Bill & John introduce a new beer and brewery to their listeners! Don’t worry, these breweries don’t sponsor the show… so it’s game on! I mean, if they wanted to, we’re willing to take one for the team… or many.

🍺 Millennium Ale by Old Dominion Brewhouse

  • Dover, DE

  • 10.5% ABV - Barleywine - American

  • Dominion Millennium is a very strong ale brewed in the English Barley Wine style. Often called the "sherry of the beer world", barley wine is best sipped at warmer temperatures and should be enjoyed in moderation, as it contains twice the alcohol of regular beers.

  • John’s Untappd Rating: 3.75

🍺 Buoy Tree by Coastal Mass. Brewing

  • Beverly, MA

  • 8% ABV - IPA - Imperial / Double New England / Hazy

  • Our annual Christmas Double New England IPA, brewed with Chinook hops in the mash, Phantasm Thiol Powder and Citra hops in the whirlpool, and Citra, Chinook and Cascade in the dry hop. Aromas of pineapple and tropical fruit, with tasting notes of melon, orange peel, pineapple, guava and white grape.

  • Bill’s Untappd Rating: 4.25
