Kristin Neff, PhD is an associate professor in human development and culture at the University of Texas, Austin, and a pioneer in the field of self-compassion research. She is the author of the groundbreaking book Self-Compassion: The Proven Power of Being Kind to Yourself.
Dr. Neff also co-authored The Mindful Self-Compassion Workbook and Teaching the Mindful Self-Compassion Program: A Guide for Professionals. Her work has received extensive media coverage, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, Time, and Psychology Today.
