Kyle Grooms is a New Jersey-native, and one of the most creative voices in comedy. A former graffiti artist, Kyle earned a degree in commercial art from the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale. Kyle began doing stand up comedy and soon resigned his position as Art Director for a television network to pursue stand up full-time. Kyle has quickly made a name for himself on the stand up circuit, becoming one of the hottest acts in New York. He has appeared on BET’s Comic View, Comedy Central’s Chappelle’s Show, Showtime at the Apollo, and Def Comedy Jam. Kyle also landed a spot as Information Guy on Straight Plan for the Gay Man. Recently, Grooms was featured on the final season of NBC’s Last Comic Standing, where he impressed the judges, including fellow comedians Andy Kindler and Greg Giraldo. Kyle has taken his act abroad, where he has wowed audiences in Holland, England, and Montreal for their prestigious Just For Laughs Festival. Kyle performs at the top clubs in New York City, including Stand Up NY, Caroline’s on Broadway, Gotham Comedy Club, Comic Strip Live, and Broadway Comedy Club.
