Now on to the podcast…
My latest conversation is with Dr. Maya Shetreat who is a conventionally trained Neurologist.
She has an incredible story of moving from the world of conventional medicine into the world of herbalism, master plants, quantum healing and so much more.
Her traditional medical training compliments a very balanced way of looking at healing with indigenous master plants.
We dive into the connection between physical healing, spiritual healing, the science around the gut microbiome and master plants. Her story weaves in new ways of thinking about healing that she teaches to other practitioners.
Her book (👈 click here to purchase) “The Master Plant Experience: the Science, safety and sacred ceremony of psychedelics” is really the catalyst for this conversation.
We talk about micro dosing, macro dosing, quantum dosing (her term and to learn about this listen to the end!!), plant medicine from a whole new perspective and how we really can’t separate out the spiritual healing portion of what is happening in our bodies
What she shares with us is the our physical illnesses are a downstream effect of a spiritual misalignment.
She tells us about her son’s illness, seizure and how this led her to Ecuador to a medicine retreat (which was very different than what she expected) and the learning experience that forever changed her approach to healing.
