As I record this episode, it is the day of Yom Kippur. the Day of Atonement, or the Day of Covering. The literal meaning of Kippur is “the hand the covers the mouth of the accuser.” We all know who the accuser is – hasatan. He is ever in our face accusing us of our shortcomings, even when we have already dealt with them with our Heavenly Father. This day is a day to “afflict” ourselves as it says in Leviticus 23. There are different ways to afflict ourselves and Isaiah 58 gives us some clarity on that issue. These different feasts that come around through the year, every year, serve to remind us of what our Heavenly Father has done for us, is doing for us currently, and is preparing to do for us in the future. That’s why they are called the Feasts of the Lord. He set them up so that we will be constantly reminded of how intricately He is involved in our lives. He is the Living Elohim. The music in this video comes from the album “Living Water” as well as the video by the same name on this channel. Blessings.
