Psalm 131 is a reminder that our Heavenly Father invites us to come sit on His lap and stop worrying about all the troubles of the world - to cuddle and snuggle. It gives us a very intimate look at how our Heavenly Father sees us. Psalm 116 also picks up this theme about how wonderfully our Heavenly Father cares for us and encourages us to offer up our thanksgiving to Him. As we here in USA stare down the possibilities of how this election may turn out and who may end up being in charge of our nation, we have to continually remind ourselves that we need not worry. Our Heavenly Father has promised that He sets them up and takes them down. It's time to crawl up on His lap and let Him handle the details of what is going to take place.
