In this final episode of the Moving Forward Task Force podcast, Evidence Elevates, we summarize close to 4 years of work. We hope you enjoy the podcast and find the resources we created useful!

This episode summarized:

  • Part 1 with Karren Knowlton and Ryan Knight: Discussion of an international survey assessing the use of contemporary and traditional practices. A paper of results is forthcoming.

  • Part 2 with Herb Karpatkin and Heather Hayes: We highlight the importance of understanding how to critically review the literature with a discussion of the 14 podcasts produced.

  • Part 3 with Lauren Snowdon, Laura Doyle, and Jenny Lotter: We highlight our resources that we have created to help individuals understand current evidence and how to integrate into practice.  Resources include: 1. Evidence pyramid, 2. Simple substitutions (do this, instead of this), 3. Educator Town hall and frequently asked questions, 4. 4 R’s, 4 types of de-implementation, 5. Patient facing documents

  • Part 4 with Parm Padgett and Hallie Zeleznik: We discuss how to move forward and the role of de-implementation and implementation, followed by some bloopers!

The work of the Moving Forward Task Force has come to an end. We hope you will all continue to move your practice forward.
