Fritz Zimmerman, author of "The Encyclopedia of Giants in North America," spent 15 years reading more than 9,000 historical documents and spending many hours reading newspaper archives in a genealogical library.
In addition, he spent 13 years looking into 700 sites and investigated more than 200 mound and earthworks in Ohio. This research resulted in the photographs of many giant's tombs. He holds a B.A. In history from Purdue University.
