Brandon Lawson went missing on August 9th, 2013 after leaving his home in San Angelo, Texas. The night that Brandon disappeared, he had gotten into an argument with his significant other due to him not returning home the day prior and the belief that he was under the influence of drugs. Before Brandon left his home, he called to notify his father that he was on his way over to his home in Crowley, Texas, which was about a 3-hour drive from San Angelo.
About 45 minutes later, Brandon called his brother and told him that he had ran out of gas and that he was pulled over alongside U.S. Route 277 between San Angelo and Bronte, Texas. Brandon's brother claimed that while he was on the phone with Brandon, he seemed to have been hallucinating as none of what Brandon was saying made any sense. The strange events that took place that night still remains a mystery because shortly after, Brandon was never seen or heard from again and remained so for 8 years.
On February 4th, 2022, the family of Brandon Lawson reported on the "Help Find Brandon Lawson" Facebook page that clothing had been located that matched Brandon's and was near his last known location. After further investigation, the Texas Rangers located human remains. It is believed that those remains are those of Brandon.
