A tale of two kings.
When Abram's nephew became a prisoner of war by the kings of the east, Abram wasted no time in launching a rescue operation to save Lot. And by God's providence, Abram was successful, not only saving Lot but also saving all the captives and stolen goods from the conquered cities. In light of this great victory from God Most High, how will the kings of the land respond?
This week we continue our study through Genesis 14 and the fallout from Abram's covert rescue mission. We'll see a righteous king who gives glory to God and blesses Abram and a worldly king who remains self-serving and ungrateful. And we'll challenge our own beliefs to see whether we have a mindset that will take credit ourselves or give glory to God.
