Abram believed God!
And God credited righteousness to Abram! In Abram's faith journey to this point, he's had many highs and lows, but when God promised Abram a son and descendants more numerous than the stars in the sky, Abram's simple belief in that promise was rewarded mightily by God. But is is possible that mixed in with that belief are more questions?
This week we finish studying Genesis 15 and the instatement of the Abrahamic Covenant. We'll see if Abram's continued questions of God indicate a remaining doubt in his mind and learn what it means that Abram fell asleep while God made the covenant with him. And then we'll look forward through history to see how this covenant corresponds to the New Covenant given by Jesus Himself to His church.
