In this lighthearted and entertaining episode, The SHE Word looks at the timely topic of finding LOVE.
Whether you believe it or not, over 79% of us believe in genuine love whether or not they have experienced it. However, The love statistics say that the probability of finding true love is around 3-5%. This may sound extremely pessimistic, but think of it like this: 80% percent of us believe in a real deep love, but we don’t know what it looks like, how to recognise it, and therefore where to find it.
In this show host Trudy Kerr sits down with; Marija Attard - a teacher and psychotherapist who provides Family Therapy and Systemic Practice, Victoria Chan, originally from Panama but a business owner here in Malta who is making a living from the extremely successor Sip And Paint and singer songwriter and recording artist Lyndsey Pace, who shares her stories of the failed relationships she navigated on the way to find her life long partner.
In this show, the women around the table define what true love is, and what it isn’t. The conversation looks at how our upbringing and background shapes the way we view relationships, why it is so hard to let go of love - even when we know it isn't working for us. The discussion focuses on our values and expectations and how this can shape how we approach relationships and what we should accept and what is not ok. The table also looks at our own behaviour in relationships and why we should be mindful of what we bring.
In this heartwarming show, the ladies share stories of true love lost and life long love found, the cost of love and where and when we should look for the person who brings love to our lives.
