The 2025 FIS World Championships in Trondheim, Norway. The Men’s 50k Freestyle has always been the pinnacle of Nordic sport, and today the Women raced 50k for the first time at a championship event. To say the conditions were soft would be a huge understatement. 'It was quite a fight out there' for Alayna Sonnesyn and all the women in the 50 k. Reporting by Stuart Harden.
