Specializing in Veterinarian Imaging providing quality patient care to a variety of different species of animals including rescued wildlife, domestic livestock, and pets. James owns and helps with the daily operations of AnimalScan clinics throughout the USA.

AnimalScan is the North American leader in animal Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI) services. His services also include Computed Tomography(CT). Using the most advanced equipment on the market his team of Technologists, Radiologists, and Anesthesiologist
manage to produce high-resolution cross-sectional anatomy imaging within minutes. Results dictated and provided by Radiologists trained especially for veterinary pathology. Pet owners are provided education on exams to be performed. Pet owners are given up to date information on diagnosis and treatment.

Jim discusses his Radiology career path starting as a scanning Technologist on humans to saving up the money to open his own imaging center. Jim eventually started scanning animals when reimbursements on human patients suffered due to legislation and a collapsed economy. Crediting mostly to the 2006 Deficit Reduction Act. Since then though he has been very successful in helping dog owners, cat owners, and animal lovers of all kinds get the healthcare treatment they deserve for their pets. Somewhere in there, Jim managed to become former President of The Society for MR Radiographers & Technologists (SMRT) where he held that position 2016-2017.
