Pammie Jimmar, President of the Athens-Limestone County Chamber of Commerce, talks with Lauren Marsh, President of Ridgeline Construction. With early dreams of becoming a dancer, Lauren took a detour with a summer job in the construction business and juggled a new career and young family at the same time. Ridgeline began as a single office focused on roofing repair after the 2011 tornadoes but has since branched out to include 4 offices in Alabama and Florida. A certified Minority Woman-Owned Business, Ridgeline is the 2023 Winner of the Better Business Bureau of North Alabama’s Torch Award for Ethics. Lauren also talks about her involvement with the Chamber's workforce job shadowing program which introduces students to construction opportunities.
