Since our interview with Simone was jam packed with so much info, we split the recording into two episodes, designating this week’s episode to the topic of perimenopause!
Our expert Simone Maman is a wife, a mom of 5 and is a Functional Health Practitioner, Holistic and Sports Nutritionist, and Eating Psychology Coach. Simone earned her IFBB bikini pro card in 2013 at the Canadian Natural Pro Qualifier, and while Simone had previously decided to retire from competitive bodybuilding, she has plans to return to the stage in 2026 in the IFBB Fit Model Division! Simone and her business partner Angelica founded Balance and Body Diagnostics after seeing the need for functional lab testing and wellness protocols for female athletes, specifically in the bodybuilding space. They encourage athletes to “test not guess” and help female athletes all over the world thrive in their preps without sacrificing their health!
