🎙️ A Little Detour: Life, Business & The Advice I Give on Divorce

We usually dive deep into all things visibility—Google Business Profile, SEO, and marketing strategies to get your business seen. But today, I’m taking a scenic route.

I’ve been reflecting a lot on where I want Brick and Mortar Visibility to go in 2025. And as I take my morning walks, I’ve been documenting my thoughts—big, small, and sometimes totally unexpected. So for the next few weeks, I’m sharing these reflections right here on the podcast as a single mom who owns a brick and mortar business.

Today is Day 17, and I found myself thinking about a question I’ve been asked many times: What advice would you give to someone contemplating divorce?

I know—this feels like a hard left from marketing. But as brick and mortar business owners, we aren’t just our business. We are partners, parents, and sometimes, we become co-parents. And after walking this road myself—five kids under 11, fifteen years of marriage—I’ve learned a thing or two.

So if you’ve been here, or you know someone who has, I’d love for you to share this episode and drop your own words of wisdom. Because no matter the journey, we learn best when we learn together.
