Uriel Simonsohn is an authority in early and medieval Islam in the Near East.
He serves as the head of the Haifa Laboratory for Religious Studies, promoting positive social and civic change in various religious communities.
He's done extensive research into Muslim and non-Muslim relations. Through his studies he's brought valuable insight into the power of cooperation across the religious divide particularly about how shared priorities can build community and foster peace. Sometimes where you'd least expect it.
