About Today’s Guest
Anna Larson is the Founder of MilSpouse Transition. In 2017, she left her job as Director of Programs and Marketing at a Fortune 500 company to focus on the needs gaps within the military spouse community. Through MilSpouse Transition, Anna provides expert guidance, resources, and support for military spouses transitioning out of active duty military life.
While military spouses don’t serve as active duty military members, nor do they claim to share identical lived experiences, they navigate deployments, temporary duty assignments, long work hours, PCS moves, sudden changes to schedules, triumphs, and challenges — all mirroring their servicemembers’ but from a distinctly different perspective. Anna has created MilSpouse Transition as a model of community support and resources tailored to the military spouse's journey out of active duty life.
As a military spouse, her family lived at duty stations in Europe, Africa, and the United States. Now, as a retired military family, they take every opportunity to be outdoors and experience all that life on the “other side” has to offer. You can often find her camping, sitting in the sun with her nose in a book, or adventuring with her family somewhere in the world.
