In an effort to save Ithan, Bryce sacrifices her ability to secure herself in a bunker and must reveal her deepest secret to close the portals to Hel. But when only one portal closes, and Sandriel makes it clear she has communicated Bryce as a threat to the Asteri, Hunt seizes the opportunity and help from Hypaxia to wreak havoc on the remaining archangel before he leaves to save Bryce.
