The year was 1874, Charley and Walter Ross were taken by 2 nefarious actors while playing in their front yard in Germantown, PA. Walter Ross was released that same day, but Charley would never be seen again...a crime that still remains partially unsolved, the body of Charley Ross was never recovered. Many people over the years following his abduction would come forward claiming to be Charley Ross in hopes of grabbing a cash cow from the Ross family legacy...Ross abduction drew nationwide attention, the Ross family summoned up thousands of their own dollars to pay the kidnappers, that never materialized, no one came forward to claim the ransom money!
