On today's parley we have special guest Illah! Coming all the way from Delhi, India Illah moved to the hood where he adapted to the language and street culture of LA. Illah looked up to his step father who was signed to Death Row records, and started developing his west coast sound into his Bollywood roots. Although Allah wanted to follow in his stepdad's path, he wanted to do it slightly differently. Instead of getting into gangsta rap, which wasn't relatable to Illah, he decided to focus his lyrics on the pimp culture, and also started his own movement called HomeTeam. Today, Illah is dropping catchy songs every week, and has even collabed with some of your favorite local LA rap artists like Tapri Grams, Tr3yway6k, Big Sad 1900, Siete Gang Yabbie, and more! He is also pushing many other entrepreneurial endeavors like his own Indian Sweet Tea, Easty Flakes Cereal, Merch, and even his own strain of marijuana called India's Indica.
