Here is a preview of the story. “Flash forward about a year, when my little brother was able to start talking, his grandmother had gotten us these pillows for Christmas. They were long, rectangular pillows. Mine had a butterfly on it and about 3-4 lines of pink, blue, yellow, and green. My little brothers were a giraffe head, with lines of light brown, dark brown, and giraffe print. He NEVER messed with the pillow or cared much for it. A couple of months after Christmas, she passed. When my mom was putting him to bed, he said, "mommy will you get the pillow Mama D got me for Christmas" and my mom said yes, and grabbed it out of the closet, and handed it to him. He started cuddling the pillow and said, "I'm really going to miss Mama D".... he was only about a year old, almost two.
