In 1987, Hendon, Saskatchewan became the setting for one of Canada’s strangest attempted bank heists. It all started with a tiny hole in the floor of the Hendon Credit Union—barely noticeable at first glance. But beneath the bank, investigators discovered a 10-metre tunnel stretching from an abandoned shack next door.
