The Bible is the most important book ever written and understanding it is vital as we seek to understand our world, our God, and our condition as humans. Whether you are new to studying the Bible, or a seasoned veteran, it is always helpful to consider how we can study the Bible well, such that our interpretations and applications from it are solid and faithful to the text.
In our conversation, Peter walked us through the basics of the observation, interpretation, application method of Bible study that DiscipleMakers teaches. We also talked about the role and usefulness of extra-biblical resources like commentaries.
