Bikeability Scotland is the national cycle training programme for school children. Almost two thirds of schools (60.3%) across Scotland ran Bikeability on-road cycle training last academic year (22/23) – a record for in school cycle training – and 20% increase from last year. To understand actual impact we spoke to children who had recently completed training and asked them for their perspective both on the training itself and on cycling in general.
