Hello and welcome to another episode of Lexx Education! It's the comedy science podcast where comedian Laura Lexx tries to learn science from her non-comedian science enthusiast brother Ron!

This week is the official start to Season 2 - professional podcasting here we go. See if you can spot them eat a single thing in this episode. YOU CAN'T!

There’s a fluffy start to the lesson as they explore the sweet treats on offer in Laura’s hotel room, Laura introduces Ron to the new A Level notebook and then they discuss the months and months that have passed since they tried to do a lesson.

They briefly try to start the A Level syllabus but Laura needs a recap on GCSE (we spy a running theme coming on). Then somehow we’re discussing where Laura’s possessions would go in the event of her death.

When we get back to the science we’re talking a little bit of organic chemistry and into biological chemistry and the tree of life from the Last Universal Common Ancestor, or Luca. Whom Laura is very invested in getting a Pixar film about.

We finish up the lesson with a recap of monomers and polymers… and yes, she sings it.

Thank you for listening. To support Laura and Ron go to patreon.com/lexxeducation or leave a five star review wherever you can. See you next week for chemistry!
